Get to Know Greenville, SC

Greenville, South Carolina university bridge

With a beautiful downtown centered around the river and a couple of waterfalls on said river, beauty is in no short supply in Greenville and the surrounding hills. It’s also very affordable, especially compared to some of the beach cities in SC.

For those in college, you’ll experience a pretty laid-back college life, with lots of options for inexpensive recreation and outdoor exploration. In the winter, it does get cold enough for some jacket weather, and locals like to say that seeing snow is something that happens only once a year, though occasionally it does happen more than once.

Even in the “cold” months, it’s not too unbearable where you can’t leave home, and the downtown area also boasts a few music venues and places to warm up with some whiskey for those old enough to do so.
